The Staff and Executive Committee of Solihull Riding Club hope that
you will enjoy our full programme of events over this coming season..
Unfortunately due to past occurances, we would like to take this
opportunity to remind all competitors and visitors that the majority
of officials and judges are volunteers, who are only too willing
to ensure the smooth running of your event and the enjoyment of
all concerned. Should you encounter any problems please have the
good manners to follow correct procedure..... contact the organiser....
who will deal with the matter appropriately;
Solihull Riding Club and /or the organising committee cannot be
held responsible for any accident, damage, injury or illness to
horses, ponies, riders, owners, grooms, ground spectators or any
other person or property whatsoever other than liability for refund
for entry fee in the event of abandonment of the competition.
Dogs must be kept under control: on a lead where and when it is
appropriate. Please also note that SRC operates a 'scoop - a - poop
policy' where we ask you to please clean up after your dog - bins
are provided at the top end of the car park;
All vehicles parked at owners risk, please do not leave any valuables
on show and please DO NOT park on the driveway;
ALL RIDERS WHEN RIDING, WHETHER COMPETING OR NOT, MUST WEAR A HARD
HAT MARKED BS/EN 1384, PAS015 OR PREFIXED WITH ASTM OR SE1, WITH
A HARNESS PROPERLY ADJUSTED AND FASTENED AT ALL TIMES;
Correct dress to be worn ie trainers and wellingtons are NOT regarded
as acceptable footwear;
The wearing of a body protector is MANDATORY for cross country events
and highly recommended and encouraged for showjumping and riding
around the grounds.
NOTE:: Members are required
to wear the sashes issues with their new membeship cards whilst
riding the grounds AND medical armbands.
NOTE: Medical
armbands will be
MANDATORY for all cross country events at the club.
In case of accidents it is recommended you do not use the grounds
unaccompanied unless reporting to the office your arrival and departure
times;
All entries at riders own risk;
No person shall allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible
as owner, lessee, authorised agent or rider to compete or be repared
to compete, in any competition without taking adequate precautions
to ensure other members of the public are not put at risk of injury;

Riding Club Health & Safety:
The organiser of events has taken reasonable precautions to ensure
the health and safety of everyone present; For these measures to
be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid
and prevent accidents occuring and must obey the instructions of
the organisers, officials, and stewards at all times; Children must
be under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times and
adults are expected to take due care.
